Lyndelle responds to her subjects with a sensitivity that can be seen and felt in her artwork. As with all her paintings, one quickly realizes that lyndelle is an adept colorist, demonstrating a mastery of her media whether using pastels, oils, acrylics, or watercolors.

 
 

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lyndelle has exhibited an outstanding talent in art since childhood. Fidelity arts of Beverly Hills purchased an edition of her prints with nationwide distribution. In 1982 Lyndelle moved to europe where she lived for 7 years and discovered pastels. She became a member of the "Kunstlerverein " and was published in the "Schloss" exhibition. Condor-Prell gallery in cologne arranged a "one-woman" show for her.

 
 

Returning to California in 1988, Lyndelle exhibited at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach for 7 years. She has been published in "Spanish Village by the Sea" , numerous journals including Southwest Art and The Pastel Journal and written an article for the Daniel Smith

Catalog. She has also appeared on KOCE TV. Her expertise is requested for lectures, demonstrations and acting as juror for art shows. Lyndelle has exhibited nationally as well as internationally in prominent galleries and museums, in solo and group shows, as well as placing "first" and "Best of Show" awards. Her work is in public and private collections around the world.

 
 

Lyndelle Stonick is an art instrucor for Saddleback College and for SVUSD. She teaches drawing, life drawing, pastels, painting, plein air painting,and watercolor.

Lyndelle has helped in bringing art to the schools and the community, working as an artist-in-residence, an artist advisor, and has arranged art exhibitions. She is a member of LPAPA, SOCALPAPA, as well as USPA (United Society of Pastel Artists) of which she is the founder and president. For information on USPA go to : USPA Pastel society
